This new converted build had to comply with building regulations, which stated that the main driveway area had to be permeable. Our solution was to design a kerbed driveway feature leading to the front door, with falls into each gravel area, utilising Marshalls’ Drivesys iron grey cobble with pennant grey driveset kerb edging. Drivesys basalt cobble was used to create an arch detail in front of property’s main entrance. As the original driveway in front of the garages were previously hard-standing areas, permeable options were not required.
Natural matching stone was sourced to match the existing garage and used to create a nice sweeping retaining wall, which compliments the curve of the driveway. We also installed a lawn area to add some greenery to the front of this stunning detached property.
